 Congratulations to Daniel Jost Brod, our newest minted PhD! Daniel passed his PhD thesis with flying colours on March 20th, 2014. His thesis work has resulted in 6 papers, which can be found [[http://quantumrio.wordpress.com/2014/03/20/phd-thesis-viva-uff-march-20th-daniel-brod/|here]]. Supervised by Ernesto Galvão, Daniel also enjoyed a 5-month academic visit to Waterloo, where he worked under the supervision of Andrew Childs. All the best to Daniel in the future!
