A new paper co-authored by Marcelo Sarandy, Andreia Saguia and Fagner Paula of IF-UFF has just appeared in Physical Review Letters. In the paper, which is a theoretical/experimental collaboration with the groups of Nottingham, CBPF and São Carlos, a counter-intuitive behaviour of quantum correlations is demonstrated experimentally for the first time. The paper was chosen as the “Weekly Spotlight” in the Brazilian Physical Society bulletin and site, where an accessible account of its findings can be found. Congratulations to all involved!
